चंद्रपूर :- राज्य शासनाच्या प्रशासकीय फेरबदलांमध्ये चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्याला नवे नेतृत्व मिळाले आहे. जिल्हाधिकारी म्हणून कार्यरत असलेले विनय गौडा यांची बदली करण्यात आली असून त्यांच्या जागी २०१७ बॅचच्या आयएएस अधिकारी वसुमना पंत यांनी आज अधिकृतपणे पदभार स्वीकारला.
जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालयात झालेल्या साध्या पण औपचारिक कार्यक्रमात वसुमना पंत यांनी आपल्या जबाबदाऱ्यांची सूत्रे हाती घेतली. यापूर्वी त्या नागपूर महानगरपालिकेत अतिरिक्त आयुक्त म्हणून कार्यरत होत्या आणि प्रशासनातील अनुभवामुळे त्यांच्याकडून जिल्ह्याच्या विकासाला नवी दिशा मिळेल, अशी अपेक्षा व्यक्त होत आहे.
पदभार स्विकाराच्या वेळी अतिरिक्त जिल्हाधिकारी डॉ. नितीन व्यवहारे, निवासी उपजिल्हाधिकारी दगडू कुंभार, उपविभागीय अधिकारी विशालकुमार मेश्राम तसेच उपजिल्हाधिकारी शुभम दांडेकर यांनी त्यांचे स्वागत केले.
चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यासमोरील विविध प्रशासकीय आव्हाने, विकासकामे आणि जनसुविधांमध्ये गती आणण्यासाठी नव्या जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांचे नेतृत्व कितपत प्रभावी ठरते, याकडे आता नागरिकांचे लक्ष लागले आहे.
Chandrapur Gets New Leadership; Vasumana Pant Assumes Charge as District Collector
Chandrapur: Following administrative reshuffles by the state government, Chandrapur district has received new leadership. District Collector Vinay Gowda has been transferred, and 2017-batch IAS officer Vasumana Pant has officially taken charge of the post today.
In a simple yet formal ceremony held at the Collector’s office, Vasumana Pant assumed her responsibilities. Prior to this appointment, she was serving as Additional Commissioner at the Nagpur Municipal Corporation. With her administrative experience, expectations are high that she will bring fresh momentum to the district’s development.
On the occasion of her joining, Additional District Collector Dr. Nitin Vyavahare, Resident Deputy Collector Dagdu Kumbhar, Sub-Divisional Officer Vishalkumar Meshram, and Deputy Collector Shubham Dandekar welcomed her.
Citizens are now keenly watching how the new District Collector will address key administrative challenges and accelerate development works and public services in Chandrapur.
