सिंदेवाही ता. 18 जुलै 2025: सिंदेवाही तालुक्यात दुपारी 2 वाजताच्या सुमारास विजेच्या कडकळासह झालेल्या पावसात शेत शिवारात धान पिकाची कामे करण्याकरिता गेलेल्या महीलावर वीज कोसळल्याने एक महिला जागीच ठार तर तिघेजण गंभीर जखमी झाल्याची दुदैवी घटना घडली.
ता.सा.क्र.23 पेटगाव कडून प्राप्त माहितीनुसार, आज दिनांक 18 जुलै 2025 रोजी दुपारी 2.00 वाजताच्या सुमारास पेटगाव येथे आकाशात मेघगर्जनेसह वीज कोसळल्याची दुर्दैवी घटना घडली. या दुर्घटनेत एका महिलेला प्राण गमवावा लागला असून तिघेजण गंभीर जखमी झाले आहेत.
मृत महिलेचा नाव सौ. संगीता सचिन चौधरी (वय 37) असे आहे. विजेचा जोरदार फटका बसल्याने त्यांचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला. याच घटनेत खालील तिघेजण जखमी झाले आहेत:
- श्री. विठ्ठल केशव शेरकुरे (वय 45)
- सौ. इंदिरा जनार्दन चौधरी (वय 45)
- श्री. जनार्दन तुळशीराम चौधरी (वय 51)
जखमींवर तातडीने वैद्यकीय उपचारासाठी रुग्णालयात दाखल करण्यात आले असून, त्यांची प्रकृती सध्या स्थिर असल्याचे सांगण्यात येत आहे. दुपारच्या सुमारास अचानक पणे विजेच्या कडकडाटासह पाऊस सुरु झाल्याने वातावरणातील बदलामुळे घराकडे जाण्याच्या तयारीत व आश्रय शोधत असतांना महीलावर विज कोसळल्याने एका महिलेचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला तर तीन जण गंभीर जखमी झाल.
दुःखद घटनेमुळे कुटुंबावर दुःखा चा डोंगर कोसळला आहे . परिसरात हळहळ व्यक्त करण्यात येत आहे गावात शोककळा पसरली आहे.

One Woman Killed, Three Seriously Injured After Lightning Strikes in Sindewahi
Sindewahi, July 18, 2025:
In a tragic incident that occurred around 2:00 PM today in Sindewahi taluka, a woman lost her life on the spot and three others were seriously injured after being struck by lightning while working in a paddy field during heavy rain accompanied by thunder.
According to the information received from Tasakra 23, Petgaon, the incident took place during an unexpected spell of heavy rain and lightning in the area. The group was engaged in farm activities when the lightning struck.
The deceased woman has been identified as Mrs. Sangeeta Sachin Chaudhary, aged 37. She died instantly due to the intensity of the lightning strike.
The three injured individuals are:
- Mr. Vitthal Keshav Sherkure, age 45
- Mrs. Indira Janardan Chaudhary, age 45
- Mr. Janardan Tulshiram Chaudhary, age 51
All three have been admitted to a hospital for urgent medical treatment, and as per the latest reports, their condition is currently stable.
This sudden and unfortunate event has caused immense sorrow across the village.
