चामोर्शी : दोन मालवाहू ट्रक ची समोरासमोर धडक बसल्याने ट्रक चालक जागीच ठार झाल्याची घटना दिनांक 30 नोव्हेंबर गुरुवारी साडे बारा एक वाजताच्या सुमारास आष्टी- चामोर्शी मार्गावरच्या अड्याळ नजीकच्या वळणावर घडली. धनलाल छोटेलाल म्हरसकोल्हे वय 49 वर्ष रा. भागी ता. देवरी जिल्हा गोंदिया असे मृत ट्रकचालकाचे नाव आहे.
सविस्तर वृत्त असे की मध्यरात्री एक वाजताच्या सुमारास लोह खनिज वाहतूक करणारी के.एल.भाटिया ट्रान्सपोर्टची ट्रक क्रमांक CG08AE 6322 चामोर्शी कडून आष्टी कडे येताना अड्याळ नजीकच्या वळणावर विरुध्द दिशेनं आष्टी कडून नारळ वाहतूक करणाऱ्या ट्रक.क्रमांक KA52 A 4072 ला समोरा समोर धडक दिली यात लोहखनीज वाहतूक करणाऱ्या ट्रकचालकाचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला तर दुसऱ्या ट्रकचा चालक गंभीर जखमी झाला. घटनेची माहिती मिळताच आष्टी पोलिस ठाण्याचे पोलीस उपनिरिक्षक गणेश जंगले आपल्या पथकासह घटनास्थळी पोहोचले व ट्रक मद्ये अडकलेल्या चालक व इतरांना बाहेर काढून आष्टी येथील ग्रामीण रुग्णालयात उपचारासाठी दाखल केले. व घटनेचा पंचनामा करून मृत. ट्रकचालकाचे शव उत्तरीय तपासणीसाठी आष्टी ग्रामीण रूग्णालयात आण्यनात आले.
आष्टी चामोर्शी मार्गावर ट्रकमुळे होणाऱ्या अपघाताचे प्रमाण दिवसंदिवस वाढत असून दोन दिवसाअगोदर झालेल्या येनापुर नजीकच्या अपघात स्थळापासुन हे अंतर दीड किलोमीटर अंतरावर आहे.
