गडचिरोली : गोंडवाना विद्यापीठाकडून २५ जानेवारी रोजी चेन्नई येथे बॉल बॅडमिंटन स्पर्धेसाठी दहा विद्यार्थीनींची चमू पाठविण्यात आली होती. त्यांच्यासोबत प्रशिक्षक म्हणून राजेश हजारे व व्यवस्थापक विजय सोनकुवर हे होते. मात्र, या दोघांनी चेन्नईत गेल्यापासून मद्यप्राशन करून खेळाडू मुलींसोबत गैरवर्तन सुरू केले. इतक्यावरच न थांबता अमरावती व मुंबई विद्यापीठातील मुलींसोबत देखील चार्जर मागण्याच्या बहाण्याने खोलीत जाऊन गैरवर्तन केले. पूर्ण वेळ हे दोघे दारूच्या नशेत असायचे. त्यामुळे मुलींमध्ये भीतीचे वातावरण होते. सदर बाब ही अभाविपच्या लक्षात येताच अभाविपच्या कार्यकर्त्यांनी सोमवारी गोंडवाना विद्यापीठाचे प्र कुलगुरू श्रीराम कावळे यांची भेट घेऊन घडलेल्या प्रकाराची तक्रार देत निवेदनातुन कारवाईची मागणी केली आहे.
घडलेला संपूर्ण प्रकरणाची व्यवस्थित चौकशी करून गुन्हेगारांवर निलंबित कारवाई करण्यात यावी असे निवेदनाच्या मार्फत मागणी केली.
त्वरित कारवाई न झालास तीव्र आंदोलन करू असे अभाविप विदर्भ प्रांत मंत्री शक्ती जी. केराम यांनी इशारा दिला.
Gadchiroli: A team of ten students was sent from Gondwana University to Chennai on January 25 for a ball badminton tournament. He was accompanied by Rajesh Hazare as coach and Vijay Sonkuwar as manager. However, after moving to Chennai, both of them started misbehaving with sports girls after consuming alcohol. Without stopping, he went to the room and misbehaved with the girls from Amravati and Mumbai University on the pretext of asking for a charger. Both of them were drunk all the time. So there was an atmosphere of fear among the girls. As soon as ABVP came to the notice of this matter, ABVP activists met Gondwana University Pro Vice-Chancellor Sriram Kawle on Monday and demanded action in a statement.
Through the statement, it was demanded that the entire incident should be properly investigated and suspended action should be taken against the criminals.
ABVP Vidarbha Province Minister Shakti G. Keram warned that if immediate action is not taken, there will be a strong agitation.
