गडचिरोली, दि.10 : हवामान विभागाने वर्तविलेल्या आंदाजांनूसार पुढिल तीन दिवस संपूर्ण गडचिरोली व चंद्रपूर जिल्हयांमध्ये अतिवृष्टीची शक्यता वर्तविण्यात आली आहे. गडचिरोली जिल्हयात मागील तीन दिवसांपासून चांगला पाऊस पडत आहे. अजून पुढिल तीन दिवस जास्त पाऊस असल्याकारणाने जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन विभागाने जिल्हयातील सर्व नागरिकांना खबरदारी बाळगण्याचे आवाहन केले आहे. जिल्हयात प्रशासनाने घटना प्रतिसाद प्रणाली (IRS) लागू केली आहे.जिल्हाधिकारी संजय मीना यांनी गडचिरोली जिल्हयातील सर्व नागरिकांना या सूचनांमूळे घाबरून न जाता काळजी, खबरदारी घेण्याचे आवाहन केले आहे. त्यांनी आज पत्रकार परिषद घेवून सर्व जनतेला आवाहन केले. आवाहानात ते म्हणाले, गडचिरोली जिल्हयात कोणत्याही ठिकाणी मोठ्या प्रमाणात पावसाची शक्यता असल्याने नागरिकांनी तीन दिवस घरातच कुटुंबाबरोबर वेळ घालवावा. कारण फिरण्यासाठी अथवा अति महत्त्वाचे काम नसताना बाहेर पडल्यास आपल्यासह कुटुंबाला धोका निर्माण होवू शकतो. जिल्हा प्रशासन पोलीस यंत्रणेसह सर्व घटनांवर लक्ष ठेवून आहे. त्यामूळे नैसर्गिक आपत्तीला टाळण्यासाठी प्रशासनाला सहकार्य करणे आवश्यक आहे. यामूळे प्रशासनाने निर्णय घेतला आहे की, पुढिल तीन दिवस शासकीय, निमशासकीय व आत्यावश्यक सेवा वगळता बाकी आस्थापना बंद राहणार आहेत.
जिल्हयात पुढिल तीन दिवस अतिवृष्टीची शक्यता वर्तविल्यानंतर जिल्हाधिकारी यांनी सर्व यंत्रणेला सज्ज राहण्याचे आदेश दिले. तसेच आपापल्या मुख्यालयी उपस्थित राहून आपत्तीबाबत तयारी करण्याचे आदेशही देण्यात आले आहेत. सद्या भामरागड तालुक्याला जाणारा रस्ता बंद आहे. त्या ठिकाणी तहसिलदार व स्थानिक प्रशासनाने दोन वेळा रस्ता सुरू करण्याचे प्रयत्न केले परंतू पावसाचे पाणी वाढल्याने पून्हा रस्ता बंद झाला. भामरागड, अहेरी व एटापल्ली या तालुक्याच्या ठिकाणी पूर बाधितांसाठी निवारागृह सुरू करण्यात आले आहे. तसेच ज्या ठिकाणी पूराचे पाणी वाढत आहे तेथील नागरिकांना सुरक्षित स्थळी हलविण्यात येत आहे.
चपराळा पासून खाली दक्षिणेकडील भागात जास्त सतर्कता बाळगण्याचे आवाहन :
गडचिरोली जिल्हयातील चपराळा येथे वर्धा व वैनगंगा नदिचे पाणी एकत्र येवून प्राणहिता मधून गोदावरी नदिला मिळते. तसेच मेडिगट्टा बॅरेजमधून आठ लक्ष क्यूसेक पाण्याचा विसर्ग 75 दरवाजांमधून सुरू आहे. त्यामूळे नदिकाठी पडलेल्या पावसाचे पाणी सहज नदीत मिसळत नाही. त्यामूळे लहान मोठे सर्व नाले मोठया प्रमाणात वाहत आहेत. अशा ठिकाणी विनाकारण नागरिकांनी नाले ओलांडण्याचा प्रयत्न करू नये. मागील दोन दोवसात पुरात वाहून गेलेल्या घटना टाळता आल्या असत्या परंतू प्रशासनाने दिलेल्या सुचनांचे पालन न केल्याने दुर्घटना घडल्या. यामुळे नागरिकांनी नैसर्गिक आपत्ती दरम्यान दिलेल्या सूचनांचे काटेकोरपणे पालन करणे गरजेचे आहे.
नदी, नाले व तलाव टाळा :
मुसळधार पाऊस, अतिवृष्टी आपण थांबवू शकत नाही. नैसर्गिक आपत्ती दरम्यान आपण फक्त तीच्या पासून दूर राहूनच होणारा अपघात टाळू शकतो. पाऊस कोणत्या भागात किती पडेल याची अचूक शक्यता वर्तविता येत नाही. कारण जिल्हयात दरवर्षीच कित्येक भागात अतिवृष्टी होत असते. यावेळी कोरची तालुक्यात 186 मिलीमीटर पाऊस एका दिवसात झाला तर अहेरी तालुक्यातही काल 270 मिलीमीटर पावसाची नोंद झाली. नागरिकांनी जास्त पाऊस असल्यावर अत्यावश्यक काम नसेल तर नदी, नाले व तलाव अशा पाण्याच्या ठिकाणी जाणे टाळावे असे आवाहन प्रशासनाकडून करण्यात येत आहे.

Immediate measures taken by the administration:-
After predicting the possibility of heavy rain in the district for the next three days, the Collector ordered all the systems to be ready. Also orders have been given to prepare for disaster by attending their respective headquarters. Currently the road to Bhamragad taluk is closed. At that place, Tehsildar and local administration tried to open the road twice, but due to the increase of rain water, the road was closed again. Shelters for flood victims have been started at Bhamragarh, Aheri and Etapalli talukas. Also, the citizens of the places where the flood water is rising are being moved to safer places.
Extra vigilance urged in southern areas from Chaparala down:
At Chaparala in Gadchiroli district, the waters of the Wardha and Vainganga rivers join together and join the Godavari river at Pranhita. Also, eight lakh cusecs of water is being released from Medigatta barrage through 75 gates. Due to this, the rain water falling along the river does not mix easily in the river. That is why all the small and big streams are flowing in large quantities. Citizens should not try to cross drains unnecessarily at such places. In the last two days, the incidents of floods could have been avoided, but due to non-compliance of the instructions given by the administration, the accidents happened. Due to this, it is necessary for citizens to strictly follow the instructions given during natural calamities.
