New Delhi: The number of corona patients in the country has not been curtailed yet. In the last 24 hours, 280,000 new patients have been registered in the country. In addition, the central government has said that the corona is now spreading through the air. Against this backdrop, the Ministry of Health has issued new guidelines.
The central government said the spread of the corona was mainly through the air. Coronavirus is also excreted through the cough or sneeze of a coronary patient. Corona is spreading rapidly through it. In an earlier guideline, the central government had said that corona infection occurs only after contact with a corona.
According to the new guidelines, the coronavirus can travel up to 10 meters through the cough or sneeze of a person infected with corona. Therefore, it is now advisable to use a mask, social distance, cleanliness, and proper ventilation to prevent corona.
Droplets go up to 2 meters and aerosols up to 10 meters from an infected person. Earlier it was advised to keep a social distance of at least 6 feet i.e. 1.8 meters.
Regarding treatment, he said that a patient with mild symptoms of corona may be given ivermectin once a day on an empty stomach. However, it is forbidden to give this drug to pregnant women. So patients with fewer symptoms do not need to be given steroids.
However, if there is fever or cough even after 7 days of infection, oral steroids can be given as per the doctor's advice, the new guideline says.
