Farmers will not need an e-pass to bring their produce to the market. The markets will open only till two o'clock in the afternoon. In the meeting of the Disaster Management Authority, it was decided to open the secretariat by 2 pm. During this period, all officials above the level of the Joint Secretary will have to come to the Secretariat.
At the same time, various departments of the Secretariat will work with 33 percent of employees. All government departments will be open with a third staff presence. The rest of the rules will continue to be applicable as before. Detailed guidelines regarding the lockdown are expected to be released late at night or by the morning of May 26.
Apart from this, the compulsory of e-pass will continue, but the duty pass of government employees, media personnel, and those working in big companies or factories will be valid. They are exempted from the mandate of e-pass.
