Tech: Facebook today said it wants to 'comply with the government's new rules to regulate content. The company indicated that it wanted to discuss 'issues that need more engagement'. A Facebook spokesperson said, "As per IT regulations, we are working to implement operational procedures and improve efficiency.
Facebook is committed to the ability of people to express themselves freely and securely on our platform. "
Explain that the rules for the news sites and OTT platforms were announced by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on 25 February.
If companies fail to follow the rules, they could be blocked or face criminal action.
