| डचिरोली जिल्ह्यात अतिवृष्टीचा इशारा; नागरिकांना सतर्क राहण्याचे आवाहन |
गडचिरोली, २४ जुलै २०२५ :– भारतीय हवामान विभाग, नागपूरने गडचिरोली जिल्ह्यासाठी २४ जुलैसाठी ऑरेंज अलर्ट व २५ जुलैसाठी रेड अलर्ट जाहीर केला आहे. यामध्ये वीजेच्या कडकडाटासह मुसळधार ते अतिमुसळधार पावसाचा अंदाज वर्तवण्यात आला आहे. विशेषतः २५ जुलै रोजी अत्याधिक पावसाची शक्यता आहे. आज गडचिरोलीतील १५ मंडळांमध्ये अतिवृष्टीची नोंद झाली आहे. या पार्श्वभूमीवर नागपूर, भंडारा, गोंदिया आणि चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यांमध्येही पुढील २४ तासांसाठी येलो किंवा ऑरेंज अलर्ट देण्यात आला आहे. हवामान विभागाने वैनगंगा, वर्धा, प्राणहिता, इंद्रावती व गोदावरी नदीच्या उपखोऱ्यांमध्येही जोरदार पावसाचा इशारा दिला आहे, त्यामुळे संभाव्य पूरस्थितीचा इशारा देण्यात आला आहे.

प्रशासनाचे आवाहन:
गडचिरोली जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरण व जिल्हाधिकारी अविश्यांत पंडा यांनी नागरिकांना पुढील सूचना दिल्या आहेत:
- पूरग्रस्त भागातून प्रवास टाळावा.
- अफवांवर विश्वास ठेवू नये.
- नदी, तलाव, बंधाऱ्याजवळ जाणे टाळावे.
- पर्यटन स्थळांवर विशेष खबरदारी घ्यावी.
- सेल्फी घेण्याचा मोह टाळावा.
- नदीकाठी असलेल्या गावांमध्ये विशेष सतर्कता बाळगावी.
- पूलावरून पाणी वाहत असल्यास पूल ओलांडू नये.
जिल्हा प्रशासनाने परिस्थितीवर लक्ष ठेवले असून आपत्कालीन सेवा सज्ज आहेत. नागरिकांनी अधिकृत सूचनांचे पालन करावे.

Heavy Rain Alert in Gadchiroli; Citizens Urged to Stay Vigilant:
Gadchiroli, July 24, 2025 – The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Nagpur has issued an Orange Alert for Gadchiroli district for July 24 and a Red Alert for July 25. The forecast includes heavy to extremely heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in various parts of the district. On July 25, extremely heavy rainfall is expected. As of today, 15 talukas in the district have recorded excessive rainfall.
In addition, Yellow/Orange Alerts have been issued for Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, and Chandrapur districts for the next 24 hours. The IMD has also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in the sub-basins of rivers such as Wainganga, Wardha, Pranhita, Indravati, and Godavari, increasing the possibility of flood-like situations.
District Administration’s Appeal to Citizens:
The Gadchiroli District Disaster Management Authority and District Collector Avishyanth Panda have urged citizens to strictly follow the safety guidelines below:
- Avoid traveling through flood-affected areas.
- Do not believe or spread rumors.
- Stay away from rivers, lakes, and dams during heavy rain.
- Tourists should take extra precautions and avoid risky spots.
- Refrain from taking selfies near water bodies.
- Residents of villages near rivers should remain especially alert.
- Do not attempt to cross bridges when water is flowing over them.
The district administration is closely monitoring the situation and has kept emergency services on standby. Citizens are requested to cooperate and follow official advisories.
