गडचिरोली : सध्या नक्षलवांच्या टीसीओसी कालावधीत त्यांच्याकडून विविध घातपाती आणि हिंसक कारवाया घडविण्याचा प्रयत्न होताे. अशाच प्रयत्नात असलेल्या एका नक्षलवाद्याला गडचिरोली पोलिस दलाने २३ फेब्रुवारी रोजी अटक केली. वेल्ला केसे वेलादी ३५ वर्षे, रा.येडापल्ली जि.बिजापूर (छत्तीसगड) असे त्याचे नाव आहे.मिळालेल्या गोपनीय माहितीच्या आधारे दामरंचा जंगल परिसरात विशेष अभियान पथकाच्या जवानांनी नक्षलविरोधी अभियान राबवून वेलादी याला अटक केली. तो सन २००१ पासून जनमिलीशीया म्हणून नक्षलचे काम करत होता. सन २००६ पासून दिलीप आणि मंगी (सँड्रा) दलममध्ये सदस्य या पदावर कार्यरत होता. सप्टेंबर २०२१ मध्ये मौजा मडवेली जंगल परिसरातील आणि अलीकडे टेकामेटा जंगलातील चकमकीत सहभाग होता. या चकमकीत त्याने छत्तीसगड दलमचा डीव्हीसीएम भास्कर यास पळून जाण्यास मदत केली होती. जाळपोळ, चकमक, दरोडा, जीवे ठार मारण्याचा प्रयत्न आदी गुन्ह्यांमध्ये त्याचा सहभाग आहे. न्यायालयाने त्याला २८ फेब्रुवारीपर्यंत पीसीआर दिला आहे.
गडचिरोली पोलीस दलाने राबविलेल्या प्रभावी नक्षलविरोधी अभियानामुळे ना- जानेवारी २०२२ आतापर्यंत एकूण ६५ नलवाद्यांना अटक करण्यात गडचिरोली पोलीस दलास यश आले आहे. सदरची कारवाई पोलीस अधीक्षक अपर पोलीस अधीक्षक (अभियान) अनुज तारे, अपर पोलीस अधीक्षक (प्रशासन) कुमार चिंता, अपर पोलीस अधीक्षक अहेरी यतिन देशमुख यांचे मार्गदर्शनाखाली पार पडली. पोलीस अधीक्षक यांनी नक्षलवाद्यांच्या हिसक कारवायांवर अंकुश लावण्यासाठी नक्षलविरोधी अभियान तीन केले असून नक्षलवाद्यानी नक्षलवादाची हिंसक बाट सोहून आत्मसमर्पण करून सन्मानाने जीवन जगण्याचे आवाहन केले आहे.

On the basis of the confidential information received, the jawans of the special operation team conducted an anti-Naxal operation in Damrancha jungle area and arrested Veladi. He was working for Naxal since 2001 as Jan Militia. Since 2006, Dilip and Mangi (Sandra) Dalam have been working as members. In September 2021, Mauza was involved in clashes in Madweli forest area and more recently in Tekameta forest. In this encounter, he helped DVCM Bhaskar of Chhattisgarh Dalam to escape. He is involved in crimes like arson, encounter, robbery, attempt to kill. The court has given him PCR till February 28.
Gadchiroli Police Force has succeeded in arresting a total of 65 naxalists till January 2022 due to the effective anti-Naxal operation conducted by Gadchiroli Police Force. The operation was conducted under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Additional Superintendent of Police (Campaign) Anuj Tare, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Kumar Chinta, Additional Superintendent of Police Aheri Yatin Deshmukh. The Superintendent of Police has conducted three anti-Naxal campaigns to curb the violent activities of Naxalites and has appealed to the Naxalites to surrender themselves to the violent burden of Naxalism and lead a dignified life.
