गडचिरोली : फेब्रुवारी ते मे महिन्या दरम्यान नक्षलवादी टीसीओसी कालावधी साजरा करतात. या दरम्यान सरकारी मालमत्तेचे नुकासान करणे, पोलीस दलावर हल्ले करून त्यांच्या जवळील शस्त्रे लुटुन नेणे, रस्ते व इतर प्रकारच्या सरकारी कामात अडथळे आणून जाळपोळ करणे इ. देशविघातक कृत्य करत असतात. याच टीसीओसी कालावधीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर गडचिरोली पोलीस दलाने एका जहाल नक्षलवाद्यांस व एका जनमिलिशियास २८ जानेवारी २०२३ ला अटक केले.
जहाल नक्षली मंगेश ऊर्फ कांडेराम पोटावी (३३) रा. होरादी ता. जि. नारायणपूर (छत्तीसगड) येथील रहीवासी असून सन २००५ मध्ये नक्षल दलममध्ये सदस्य पदावर भरती होऊन तो सध्या परलकोट दलममध्ये सीएनएम (चेतना नाट्यकला मंच) कमांडर या पदावर कार्यरत होता. त्याच्यावर २००९ साली झालेल्या विधानसभा निवडणुकीमध्ये मौजा गुरपा जंगल परिसरात पोलीस पाटीलवर ॲम्ब्यू व चकमक तसेच मौजा येरवडा जंगल परिसरातील चकमक सन २००९ मध्ये जाळपोळ, दरोडा, जीवे ठार मारण्याचा प्रयत्न करणे इ. गुन्हे नोंद असून २८ जानेवारी २०१३ ला उपविभाग एटापल्ली मधील उपपोस्ट बानसूर हद्दीतील कसनसूर या गावात आला, या गोपनिय माहितीच्या आधारे पोलीस पाटील अभियानादरम्यान त्याला ताब्यात घेतले. त्यास २००१ साली उपपोस्टे कसनसूर येथे दाखल अप.क्र. ०७/२००१९ या गुन्हयात अटक करण्यात आली आहे. सोबतच प्राथमिक माहितीनुसार नारायणपुर (छत्तीसगढ़) यथे गुन्हा दाखल असून अधिकचा तपास नारायणपुर पुलिस यांच्या सहकार्याने गडचिरोली पोलीस दल करीत आहेत.
तसेच चिन्ना मासे झोरे (४०) रा. रामनटोला ता. एटापल्ली जि. गडचिरोली येथील असून तो सन २००५ पासून गट्टा दलमध्ये जनमिलिशिया सदस्य पदावर कार्यरत होता. त्याच्यावर मौजा गर्देवाडा जंगल परिसर कास्टिंग व चकमक २०१४ व मौजा कुरेनार (छत्तीसगढ़) येथील रोड कामावरील वाहन जाळपोळ इ. गुन्हे दाखल आहेत. २८ जानेवारी २०१३ रोजी पोमके गट्टा (जॉ.) हद्दीत पोलीस पार्टीने मौजा टिटोळा ते जांबिया जंगल परिसरात अभियान राबवित असतांना ताब्यात घेण्यात आले. त्यास २०१४ मध्ये पोस्टे एटापल्ली येथे दाखल अप. क्र. १३/२०१४ मौजा गर्देवादा येथे झालेल्या ब्लास्टींग चकमक या गुन्हयात अटक करण्यात आली, असून पुढील तपास गडचिरोली पोलीस दल करीत आहे.
गडचिरोली पोलीस दलाने राबविलेल्या प्रभावी नक्षलविरोधी अभियानामुळे जानेवारी २००२ ते आतापर्यंत एकूण ६२ नक्षलवाद्यांना अटक, ०८ नक्षलवायांचे आत्मसमर्पण व ०३ नक्षलवाद्यांचा पोलीस नक्षल चकमकीमध्ये मृत्यु झाला. सदरची कारवाई पोलीस अधीक्षक नीलोत्पल, अपर पोलीस अधीक्षक (अभियान) अनुज तारे, अपर पोलीस अधीक्षक (प्रशासन) कुमार चिंता, अपर पोलीस अधीक्षक अहेरी, यतिश देशमुख यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखाली पार पडले. पोलीस अधीक्षक नीलोत्पल ज्यांनी नक्षलवाद्यांच्या हिंसक कारवायांवर अंकुश लावण्यासाठी नक्षलविरोधी अभियान तीव्र असून नक्षलवाद्यांनी हिंसक वाट सोडून आत्मसमर्पण करून सन्मानाने जीवन जगण्याचे आवाहन केले आहे.

Jahal Naxali Mangesh alias Kanderam Potavi (33) Res. Hourly Dist. A resident of Narayanpur (Chhattisgarh), he was recruited as a member of Naxal Dalam in the year 2005 and was currently working as a CNM (Chetana Natyakala Manch) commander in Parlakot Dalam. Ambush and skirmish on Police Patil in Mauja Gurpa forest area during assembly elections in 2009 and arson, robbery, attempted murder etc. On January 28, 2013, a sub-post in Etapally sub-division came to Kasansur village in Bansur limits, police arrested him during Operation Patil, based on confidential information. It was filed in 2001 at Subpost Kasansur under U.S. No. 07/20019 has been arrested in this crime. Also, according to the preliminary information, a case has been registered at Narayanpur (Chhattisgarh) and further investigation is being conducted by Gadchiroli police force with the cooperation of Narayanpur police.
Also Chinna Mase Zhore (40) Res. Ramantola T. Etapally Distt. Hailing from Gadchiroli, he was working as a member of the Gatta Dal since 2005. Casting and flint in Mauja Gardewada forest area 2014 and arson of vehicle on road work at Mauja Kurenaar (Chhattisgarh) etc. Cases have been filed. On January 28, 2013, Pomke Gatta (Jr.) was detained by a police party in Hadit while conducting an operation from Mauza Titola to Zambia forest area. It was filed in 2014 at Poste Etapally. No. 13/2014 An arrest has been made in the blasting encounter at Mauja Gardewada, and further investigation is being conducted by the Gadchiroli Police Force.
Since January 2002, a total of 62 Naxalites have been arrested, 08 Naxalites have surrendered and 03 Naxalites have died in police-Naxal encounters due to the effective anti-Naxal operation conducted by the Gadchiroli Police Force. The operation was carried out under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Nilotpal, Additional Superintendent of Police (Campaign) Anuj Tare, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration) Kumar Chinta, Additional Superintendent of Police Aheri, Yatish Deshmukh. Superintendent of Police Nilotpal who has intensified the anti-Naxal campaign to curb the violent activities of Naxalites has appealed to the Naxalites to surrender and surrender to lead a dignified life.
