The level of Wainganga river flowing near Bhandara town crossed the danger level at 6:00 pm on Wednesday. A water level of 245.56 meters was recorded near the small bridge of Wainganga. The alert level is 245 meters and the danger level is 245.50 meters. The small bridge of Vainganga at Kardha has been closed for traffic on Wednesday afternoon. Vaingange has crossed the danger level for the first time this monsoon. Although the water level of Wainganga is increasing, Collector Sandeep Kadam has appealed that no one should believe in rumours, as the flood situation is under control.
