Withdraw WhatsApp's new privacy policy: Central Government
Tech: WhatsApp has been ordered by the Central Department of Electronics and Information Technology to withdraw its new privacy policy. What is the opinion of the Ministry of Information Technology? : WhatsApp's changes to the privacy policy are pushing the positive values of information privacy. It will deprive both the rights and interests of the citizens.
The government has sent a notice to WhatsApp to withdraw its policy and is expected to respond within seven days. It has said it will take appropriate action if it does not receive a satisfactory response.

Warning: Changes in the Privacy Policy of 2021 should be withdrawn. This policy is in violation of current Indian laws and regulations. Indian users will be treated more favorably by this policy than in Europe. But WhatsApp's policy is problematic and irresponsible.
This policy is a violation of privacy as WhatsApp will pass on the information collected by them to Facebook.
