Covid-19 Positivity Rate Lowest In A Month |
Covid-19: The Union Health Ministry today said that after a consistent increase in COVID-19 case positivity for 10 weeks India is reporting a decline in the case of positivity for the last 2 weeks.
Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Chhattisgarh have shown a remarkable drop in positivity over the past few weeks, said Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Union Health Ministry.
“194 districts are showing a rise in cases, 121 districts are showing a rise in positivity,” he added.
As per the health ministry, seven states have more than 25 percent COVID-19 case positivity, while 22 states have more than 15 percent case positivity.
The Health Ministry further informed that a home testing kit by Pune’s Mylab will be available at Rs 250.
