Online Games Ban IN Maharashtra: आजच्या डिजिटल युगात ऑनलाइन गेमिंगचा विस्तार झपाट्याने होत आहे. मोबाइल अ‍ॅप्सवर आधारित गेम्स जसे की BGMI, Free Fire, Teen Patti, Rummy इत्यादींनी तरुणांमध्ये प्रचंड लोकप्रियता मिळवली आहे. मात्र, यामुळे तरुण पिढीत व्यसनाधीनता, आर्थिक नुकसान, कर्जबाजारीपणा आणि सायबर फसवणूक यासारख्या गंभीर समस्या उद्भवत आहेत. महाराष्ट्र सरकारने या समस्यांचा गांभीर्याने विचार करून राज्य पातळीवर अंमलबजावणीसह केंद्र सरकारकडे कठोर कायद्याची मागणी केली आहे. ही कारवाई बंदी घालण्याच्या दिशेने पहिलं पाऊल मानली जात आहे.
1️⃣ सध्याची कायदेशीर स्थिती:
महाराष्ट्रात सध्या कोणत्याही गेमिंग अ‍ॅपवर बंदी घालण्यात आलेली नाही. BGMI, Free Fire, PokerStars, MPL, Junglee Rummy यांसारखे अ‍ॅप्स अद्याप प्ले स्टोअरवर आणि अ‍ॅप स्टोअरवर उपलब्ध आहेत.
मात्र, राज्य सरकारच्या कायद्यानुसार, ऑनलाइन गेमिंगवर थेट बंदी घालण्याचा अधिकार फक्त केंद्र सरकारकडेच आहे. त्यामुळे राज्य सरकार केंद्राकडे विशेष कायद्याची मागणी करत आहे.
2️⃣ सरकारची कारवाई आणि विधानसभेतील भूमिका:
महाराष्ट्र विधानसभेतील अलीकडील अधिवेशनात उपमुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी सांगितले:
"राज्य सरकारकडे पूर्ण बंदी घालण्याचा अधिकार नाही. मात्र, तरुणांमध्ये व्यसन आणि गुन्हेगारी वाढ होत असल्याने केंद्र सरकारने कठोर कायदा आणावा अशी आमची मागणी आहे."
गृहमंत्री पंकजा भोयर यांनी देखील सांगितले की राज्य सरकारने केंद्र सरकारकडे ऑनलाइन गेमिंग, लॉटरी आणि सट्टा यावर कठोर कायदा तयार करावा यासाठी निवेदन पाठवले आहे.
3️⃣ कायद्यासाठी मागणीची पार्श्वभूमी:
📌 पोलिसांकडून नोंदवलेले गंभीर गुन्हे:
2023 ते 2025 या कालावधीत महाराष्ट्रात 97 ऑनलाईन जुगार आणि फसवणुकीच्या घटना नोंदवण्यात आल्या आहेत. यामध्ये मुंबईत सर्वाधिक – 38 प्रकरणं नोंदवण्यात आली. चंद्रपूर, नागपूर, पुणे आणि ठाणे यासारख्या जिल्ह्यांत ऑनलाइन बेटिंग रॅकेट उघडकीस आले आहेत.
📌 फसवणुकीचे प्रकार:
गेममध्ये चीट कोड देण्याच्या नावाखाली फेक वेबसाइट्सद्वारे मोबाईलमध्ये स्पायवेअर इंस्टॉल करून वापरकर्त्यांचा डेटा चोरी केला जात आहे.
अनेकांना ब्लॅकमेल, OTP चोरी, बँक खात्यातून पैसे गायब होणे, डिजिटल ब्लॅकमेलिंग अशा घटना घडल्या आहेत.
4️⃣ सरकारची धोरणात्मक पावले:
✅ सायबर सुरक्षेवर भर:
राज्य सरकारने ५० पेक्षा जास्त सायबर प्रयोगशाळा (Cyber Labs) सुरू केल्या आहेत.
सर्व जिल्ह्यांमध्ये सायबर गुन्ह्यांचा तपास करणाऱ्या तज्ज्ञ अधिकाऱ्यांना प्रशिक्षण दिलं जात आहे.
✅ नागरिकांसाठी मदतीचे पर्याय:
फसवणुकीसाठी 1945 आणि 1930 हे हेल्पलाइन क्रमांक कार्यरत करण्यात आले आहेत.
पालक, शाळा, महाविद्यालयं आणि सेलिब्रिटींसाठी जनजागृती मोहीम सुरू करण्यात येणार आहे.
✅ जाहिरातींवर नियंत्रण:
मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे यांनी सार्वजनिकपणे सांगितले की, "सेलिब्रिटींनी ऑनलाईन गेमिंग अ‍ॅप्सची जाहिरात करू नये." त्यांनी स्पष्ट केलं की तरुण पिढीचा भविष्याचा विचार करून हे पाऊल आवश्यक आहे.
5️⃣ ऑनलाइन गेमिंगमुळे उद्भवणाऱ्या समस्या:

6️⃣ राज्यातील नागरिकांची भूमिका:
राज्य सरकार केवळ नियम न लावता नागरिकांच्या सहभागावर भर देत आहे.
त्यानुसार:
पालकांनी मुलांच्या गेमिंगच्या सवयींवर नियंत्रण ठेवावं. तरुणांनी ऑनलाईन गेमिंगचा विवेकपूर्ण वापर करावा.
शाळा व महाविद्यालयांनी ‘डिजिटल विवेक’ यावर कार्यशाळा घ्याव्यात.
महाराष्ट्रात सध्या कोणतेही ऑनलाइन गेमिंग अ‍ॅप बंद करण्यात आलेले नाहीत. मात्र, या क्षेत्राशी संबंधित गंभीर सामाजिक आणि आर्थिक समस्यांमुळे राज्य सरकारने केंद्र सरकारकडे कठोर कायदा आणण्याची मागणी केली आहे. याचबरोबर, सायबर सुरक्षेची पायाभूत यंत्रणा मजबूत केली जात असून, जनजागृतीचा प्रचारही सुरू आहे.
जर केंद्र सरकारने यावर तातडीने कारवाई केली, तर भविष्यात संपूर्ण देशभरात गेमिंग अ‍ॅप्ससाठी एक統संधी कायदा लागू होऊ शकतो.

In today’s digital age, online gaming has expanded rapidly. Mobile-based games like BGMI, Free Fire, Teen Patti, Rummy, and others have gained massive popularity, especially among the youth. However, this surge has also led to serious issues like addiction, financial loss, debt traps, and cyber fraud.
In response, the Maharashtra government has taken this matter seriously and initiated strong action at the state level while formally requesting the central government to introduce stricter laws. These developments are seen as the first step toward possibly regulating or banning certain gaming platforms in the future.
1️⃣ Current Legal Status:
There is no official ban on any online gaming apps in Maharashtra as of now. Games like BGMI, Free Fire, PokerStars, MPL, Junglee Rummy remain available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Currently, no online gaming app has been banned in Maharashtra. However, due to the rising social and cyber concerns, the state government has taken serious steps and officially requested the Central Government to introduce a strict law governing online gaming and betting apps.
