चंद्रपूर, २४ जुलै: भारतीय हवामान विभागाच्या अंदाजानुसार, २५ जुलै रोजी चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यात अतिवृष्टीचा धोका असल्याने रेड अलर्ट जारी करण्यात आला आहे. काही भागांत अत्यंत मुसळधार पाऊस पडण्याची शक्यता असून, प्रशासनाने संभाव्य आपत्ती टाळण्यासाठी तात्काळ उपाययोजना केल्या आहेत.
जिल्ह्यात आपत्कालीन परिस्थिती उद्भवू नये आणि विद्यार्थ्यांचे नुकसान टाळावे यासाठी, सर्व अंगणवाड्या, पूर्व प्राथमिक, प्राथमिक व माध्यमिक शाळा, महाविद्यालये आणि खासगी कोचिंग क्लासेस यांना २५ जुलै रोजी सुट्टी जाहीर करण्यात आली आहे. हा निर्णय आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन अधिनियम २००५ च्या कलम ३० (२)(५) आणि (१८) अंतर्गत घेण्यात आला आहे.
प्रभारी जिल्हाधिकारी तथा जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरणाचे अध्यक्ष डॉ. नितीन व्यवहारे यांनी नागरिकांना सतर्क राहण्याचे आवाहन केले आहे. पावसाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर नागरिकांनी आवश्यक खबरदारी घ्यावी आणि कोणतीही आपत्कालीन परिस्थिती उद्भवल्यास जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन नियंत्रण कक्ष (07172 - 250077) या क्रमांकावर त्वरित संपर्क साधावा, असे त्यांनी सांगितले.
प्रशासनाकडून आदेशाची अंमलबजावणी तातडीने करण्यात येणार असून, संबंधित विभागांना आवश्यक सूचना देण्यात आल्या आहेत.
Red Alert for Heavy Rain in Chandrapur: All Educational Institutions to Remain Closed on July 25
Chandrapur, July 24: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Red Alert for Chandrapur district on July 25, forecasting extremely heavy rainfall in some areas. In response, the district administration has taken preventive action to ensure public safety, especially for students.
To avoid any untoward incidents and ensure the safety of children in case of emergency situations due to heavy rains, a one-day holiday has been declared for all Anganwadis, pre-primary, primary, secondary schools, colleges, and private coaching classes across the district on July 25.
This decision has been made under Section 30 (2)(5) and (18) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
Dr. Nitin Vyavahare, Acting District Collector and Chairman of the District Disaster Management Authority, has urged citizens to stay alert and follow all necessary precautions in light of the weather alert. In the event of any emergency, residents are advised to contact the District Disaster Management Control Room at the Collector’s Office, Chandrapur via Phone: 07172–250077.
All departments concerned have been instructed to implement the order immediately, and citizens are requested to stay indoors and avoid unnecessary travel during periods of intense rainfall.
