अमरावती : लग्नाच्या स्वागत समारंभाला जात असलेल्या एका कुटुंबाच्या ऑटोरिक्षाला मिक्सर ट्रकने जोरदार धडक दिली. या अपघातात ऑटोरिक्षा मधील एकाच कुटुंबातील तिघांचा मृत्यू झाला, तर चार जण गंभीर जखमी झाले. ही घटना आज, बुधवारी रात्री ८ वाजताच्या सुमारास वलगाव ठाण्याच्या हद्दीतील नांदुरा येथे पुलावर घडली. जखमींवर जिल्हा सामान्य रुग्णालयात उपचार सुरू आहेत.
पूजा सहदेव वाकोडे (१६), प्रज्ञा सहदेव वाकोडे (१९), पद्माकर देवीदास दांडगे (५०) तिघेही रा. चिंचोळी काळे, अशी मृतांची तर सहदेव वाकोडे (५२), फुलवंता वाकोडे (४९), करुणा वाकोडे (१७) व रंजीता गौतम दांडगे (४०) अशी जखमींची नावे आहेत. वाकोडे व दांडगे कुटुंबातील सात सदस्य बुधवारी रात्री ऑटो रिक्षाने अमरावती शहरात एका लग्नाच्या स्वागत समारंभात सहभागी होण्यासाठी जात होते. मार्गात नांदुरा येथील पुलाजवळ एका ट्रकने त्यांच्या ऑटो रिक्षाला जोरदार धडक दिली. या अपघातात ऑटोमधील सर्व गंभीर जखमी झाले. अपघाताची माहिती मिळताच वलगाव पोलिसांनी तातडीने घटनास्थळ गाठले. यावेळी नागरिकांनीही घटनास्थळी एकच गर्दी केली. पोलिसांनी नागरिकांच्या मदतीने जखमींना जिल्हा सामान्य रुग्णालयात दाखल केले. परंतु, डॉक्टरांनी पूजा, प्रज्ञा व पद्माकर यांना मृत घोषित केले. अन्य जखमींवर उपचार सुरू आहेत. वलगाव पोलिसांनी अपघाताची नोंद घेतली असून पुढील तपास सुरू आहे.
Amravati: A mixer truck hit the autorickshaw of a family going to a wedding reception. In this accident, three members of the same family in the autorickshaw were killed, while four others were seriously injured. The incident took place today, Wednesday around 8 pm on a bridge at Nandura in Valgaon Thane. The injured are undergoing treatment at the District General Hospital.
Pooja Sahdev Wakode (16), Pragya Sahdev Wakode (19), Padmakar Devidas Dandge (50) all three Res. Chincholi Kale, the deceased have been identified as Sahdev Wakode (52), Phulwanta Wakode (49), Karuna Wakode (17) and Ranjeeta Gautam Dandge (40). Wakode and seven members of the Dandge family were on their way to Amravati city in an auto rickshaw on Wednesday night to attend a wedding reception. On the way, a truck hit his auto rickshaw near the bridge at Nandura. All in the auto were seriously injured in this accident. As soon as the information about the accident came, the Valgaon police immediately reached the spot. This time, the citizens also gathered at the spot. The police admitted the injured to the district general hospital with the help of citizens. But, doctors declared Pooja, Pragya and Padmakar dead. Other injured are undergoing treatment. The Valgaon police have registered the accident and further investigation is underway.
