Mumbai: Lockdown is getting more relaxed. Restrictions imposed under 'Break the Chain' are gradually being lifted. 21 districts in the state will be free from restrictions from Monday. However, restrictions will be maintained in Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Sangli, Satara, and Kolhapur districts.

In the first phase, restrictions in 12 districts were lifted. Now, this number is 21. The Collector and the Municipal Commissioner have been given the power to decide the extent of restrictions. Life will start smoothly in Ahmednagar, Amravati, Bhandara, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Dhule, Gondia, Hingoli, Jalgaon, Jalna, Latur, Nagpur, Nanded, Nandurbar, Parbhani, Solapur, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal.

Despite the decrease in the number of patients in the Mumbai district, the Municipal Corporation has taken precautionary measures. Thane, Pune, however, is becoming restrictive. Restrictions in 21 districts, including Thane and Pune, will be relaxed from Monday, taking into account the weekly number of coroners and the availability of beds.

However, the current restrictions will remain in place to avoid congestion in Mumbai. Mumbai Municipal Corporation has taken this decision to avoid risk. Malls, cinemas, theaters will remain closed. The shops will be open till 4 pm. The ban on public travel will also remain in place.

Level 1 -

All restrictions have been lifted in districts where the weekly rate of coronary heart disease is less than 5 per cent and patients with less than 25 per cent oxygen. These include Ahmednagar, Amravati, Bhandara, Buldhana, Chandrapur, Dhule, Gondia, Hingoli, Jalgaon, Jalna, Latur, Nagpur, Nanded, Nandurbar, Parbhani, Solapur, Wardha, Washim, and Yavatmal districts.

Level 2 -

All shops are allowed to remain open in districts where the incidence of coronary heart disease is less than 5 per cent and patients are between 25 and 40 per cent. These include Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, and Pune.

Level 3 -

Districts and municipalities are expected to have between 5 and 10 per cent weekly coronary heart disease cases and more than 40 per cent patients with oxygen. These mainly include Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Akola, Aurangabad, Beed, Gadchiroli, Nashik, Osmanabad, Sangli districts. However, in Thane district, Thane city and Navi Mumbai city, as well as Aurangabad city, are in level two, so the restrictions have been lifted.

Level 4 -

The fourth phase covers districts where the weekly corona incidence rate is between 10 and 20 per cent and patients more than 60 per cent. This phase covers Pune (excluding Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation), Raigad, Satara, Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg districts. There will be a curfew in this district. Essential service shops here will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 Level 5 -

In the fifth tier, those districts are included in the level if the weekly proportion of victims is more than 20 per cent and the oxygen level is more than 75 per cent.
