Although the number of patients in Mumbai and Pune areas is stable, the number is increasing in Western Maharashtra and Konkan. Therefore, the beginning of the new academic year is likely to be online. The education department has also started preparations for that.
Dinkar Temkar, Director, State Council for Educational Research and Training said:
Teachers will not be able to predict exactly how much they have learned in the class they are currently studying.
Meanwhile, the Maharashtra State Council for Educational Research and Training is developing an independent study material for this. There is also an option for exercise books.
This year, the education department is trying to impart lessons to students through television for all classes. A proposal has also been sent to Doordarshan for this.
