| Chandrapur reports 179 fresh cases, 2,598 active cases |
Covid-19 Chandrapur: The district reported 179 fresh novels Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and 06 fatalities in the last 24-hours. In the day, a total of 553 people successfully recovered from the virus-borne disease, taking the number of cumulative recovered to 78,739.
According to the official report, out of 179 total positive cases, Chandrapur Municipal Corporation Area 48, Chandrapur Taluka 28, Ballarpur 28, Bhadravati 09, Bramhapuri 10, Nagbhid 03, Sindevahi 08, Mul 16, Sawali 02, Pobhurna 01, Gondpipri 04, Rajura 02, Chimur 00, Warora 04, Korpana 07, Jivti 02 and 07 patients from including other places.
With the latest update, the total number of cases has surged to 82,784 while the number of deaths rose to 1447.
On the day 553 patients were successfully recovered from the virus-borne disease taking the numbers of total recovered patients at 78,739.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stand at 2,598 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
