Covid-19 Chandrapur: The district reported 148 fresh novels Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and 11 fatalities in the last 24-hours. In the day, a total of 355 people successfully recovered from the virus-borne disease, taking the number of cumulative recovered to 79,451. A total of 2615 reports were received today. Of these, 148 positive and 2467 negative.
According to the official report, out of 148 total positive cases, Chandrapur Municipal Corporation Area 18, Chandrapur Taluka 17, Ballarpur 33, Bhadravati 13, Bramhapuri 2, Nagbhid 5, Sindevahi 2, Mul 9, Sawali 1, Pobhurna 4, Gondpipri 2, Rajura 16, Chimur 2, Warora 7, Korpana 13, Jivti 2 and 2 patients from other places.
With the latest update, the total number of cases has surged to 83,051 while the number of deaths rose to 1465.
On the day 355 patients were successfully recovered from the virus-borne disease taking the numbers of total recovered patients at 79,451.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stand at 2,115 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
