Covid-19 Chandrapur: The district reported 85 fresh novels Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases and 2 fatalities in the last 24-hours. In the day, a total of 218 people successfully recovered from the virus-borne disease, taking the number of cumulative recovered to 80,533. A total of 4107 reports were received today. Of these, 123 positive and 3984 negative.
According to the official report, out of 148 total positive cases, Chandrapur Municipal Corporation Area 16, Chandrapur Taluka 10, Ballarpur 8, Bhadravati 11, Bramhapuri 6, Nagbhid 3, Sindevahi 2, Mul 3, Sawali 1, Pombhurna 3, Gondpipri 1, Rajura 11, Chimur 0, Warora 4, Korpana 6, Jivti 0 and 0 patients from other places.
With the latest update, the total number of cases has surged to 83,586 while the number of deaths rose to 1479.
On the day 218 patients were successfully recovered from the virus-borne disease taking the numbers of total recovered patients at 80,533.
After the fresh updates, the total active cases in the city now stand at 1,574 including asymptomatic cases advised for home isolation.
